Autism Type Comparison!
Question: Autism Type Comparison
How is high differ from low function!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
Autism is a spectrum disorder!. There is a continuum between high functioning and low functioning!. There are some cases that are simply personality peculiarities that are actually within the range of normal!. That's why most doctors refuse to diagnose autism in children under three years old!. All children under three have some autistic symptoms!.
You can make up your own mind about this just by counting the symptoms that are common in autism: shyness, avoidance of eye contact, withdrawal, clumsiness, hand flapping, toe walking, inability to learn basic social skills, speech difficulties, unexplainable sensory issues!. Genrally, if these become so prevalent they interfere with the ability to work or love; that's autism!. If it's manageable, that's high-functioning autism--like Asperger's Syndrome, or "Pervasive Delayed Development/ not-otherwise-specified!." Www@Answer-Health@Com
