Ok now something confuses me a little!. There can be two types of Anorexia Nervosa!. 1!. Restricting Type and 2!. Bing/Purge Type!. Now what is the differences between Anorexia: Bing/Purge Type and Bulimia Nervosa!? Are they often confused!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

-Bulimia is when you eat but you throw up the food that you do eat!.
-Anorexic people may eat!.!.!.but not enough for what their body needs!. Anorexic people may also not eat for days or weeks!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and then all of a sudden "binge or purge" anything they can scarf in a matter of minutes (and then throw it up later)!.
I don't really know what you mean by restricting type but I think that you are referring to the type that restricts themselves from eating anything over a certain calorie intake a day!. (which can lead to anorexia if they aren't getting all their nutrients and become a dangerous weight!.)
They are both often confused because you can be bulimic (eat and throw up food) but still be anorexic because you met the requirement of being "under weight"!. It can also be confusing because some people think that anorexic people do not eat at all, when some eat everyday but not enough to maintain a healthy weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, I believe they are often confused!. The differences are kind of subtle: in purging anorexia the person does not feel "out of control" when eating!. Bulimics feel out of control while binging, however!. I'm pretty sure there are other differences also (concerning how many calories are consumed before purging, perhaps) but that is the most important difference and the only one I remember as of now!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Binging/Purging is the same as bulimia nerviosa!. It consists of eating a ton and then puking it up!. Anorexia is a disorder in which the person does not take in high enough caloric intake!. In this case, there is no throwing up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
both binge/purge ana and mia eat a lot of calories and then purge by laxatives or self induced vomiting!. they're basically the same thing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
