Question: Is it normal to have heart palpitations after eating chocolate!?
I've had a whole slew of tests on my heart!. I have a slight heart murmor, but nothing to be concerned about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Chocolate contains a certain amount of caffeine!.
Caffeine can effect the heart by the effect of palpitations but it is relatively rare for smaller amounts of chocolate!.
High-calorie coffee drinks are more likely to have this effect!.

I had a murmur too and at 41 I had open heart surgery to replace my Aortic Valve!. Ask for more information from your Cardio!. If you haven't seen one yet ask to and get an echo done of your heart!. Palps after eating chocolate are ok it will probably happen after drinking cola and coffee too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
