Fear of swallowing pills!
Question: Fear of swallowing pills
i have had this probelm forever!. whenever i swallow an advil(or any pill) i start to choke on it!. i cant breathe, and i feel like im gonna die!. i have to throw the pill up every time!. is there any way to stop this!? thanks!. i really want to get over thisWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's a natural instinct to chew before we swallow!. And it can make some people downright afraid when they feel forced to swallow without chewing first!. So yours is a natural response!.
You might find it easier to swallow if you drink a couple of gulps of liquid first; then pop the pill; and then swallow it during the course of another mouthful or two!. Taking the pill during a drink may just help prime your mind to recognize that, when taking a pill, you're swallowing no more than you normally would while downing a gulp of drink!. It may make it seem more of a normal thing to do!.
If your anxiety level about choking is overwhelming, then you may do well by seeing a therapist who is versed in cognitive-behavioral therapy!. They will help you face the fear and help you get to a point where your anxiety is reduced, and you can swallow the pill without fear!.

well there is a product that you spray on pills that makes them easier to swallow!. sotra like lubrication for pills!?!?
Pepto Bismol pills are dry and get stuck at the back of my mouth!. So i bite the pill, while taking a big mouthfull of water and gulp evrything down!.

Just when your taking the pill don't think about it and you can do it! It's not that big of a deal it will help you alot more than liquid!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
put the pill on your toung at the tip, take a drink of water and flip the pill to the back of your throat and swallow!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
take a huge mouthfull of water - literally FILL your mouth - get the pill off your tongue - so you dont feel the pill - and GULP all water at once

put the pill all the way on the back of your tongue, and take a big gulp of water! you shouldn't feel it go down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
