The general public does not know that with over 200 different types of cancer !. !. the majority of them have no symptoms and no tests can detect them in the early stage !. !.there is no known 'prevention' !. !. I think most people would be horrified to learn that!. People also seem to assume that only people over 50 or children get cancer and seem totally oblivious that cancer is the leading cause of death (after accidents) for adolescents and young adults!. Most people seem totally unaware that a 'risk' for cancer such as smoking !. !. is only just a risk !. !. just because you do not smoke it doesn't mean you can't get lung cancer!. The medical community has done a good job alerting older women about lumps in their breasts or men about lumps in the testicle, and for older people to check for polyps in the colon, to wear sun screen to protect against skin cancer, and have alerted people to the risk of smoking !. !. !. however !. !. that isn't even ten cancers !. !. there are over 200 different kinds with just as many subtypes!.

There is no early warning signs for the majority of cancers and the reason is simple !. !. cancer is your own DNA !. !. your own cells that have mutated!. The body treats a malignancy in the same way it treats any body organ !. !. it feeds it and takes care of it!. Cancer can co-exist inside the body for an indetermined amount of time and as long as it does not intefere with body systems !. !. no one would ever notice it!.

Cancer is a progressive disease!. It starts small, can hide behind organs and structures within the body for an indefinite time period!. Looking for early cancer in the body is like looking for a needle in a haystack !. !. you can't find it unless you know where to look !. and since cancer when it is tiny causes no problem !. !. no one can find it !. !. even a doctor!. No machine exists that can spot microscopic disease or anything under 1cm !. !. and even than unless the machine is pointed right at the disease would it even be slightly possible to find it!. With cancer, unfortunately, the only way to detect it !. !. is when it is big enough to see !. !.and by than it could be too late!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A cancer diagnosis is individual and subjective!. Doctors asses your risk factors and family history during your regular physical!. Some cancers are easier to detect than others!. Some are asymptomatic, others not!. A lot of older men are walking around with the "possibility" of prostate cancer!. They get a blood test after 50 because that's when doctors have seen the highest ocurrance of prostate cancer!. But some can get p!.cancer under 50!.!.!. it's all very individual!. You won't know if you're walking around with cancer or not!. That's why you have to tell your doctor that there is a history of certain cancers in the family!. For example, if it's lung cancer, the doctor may tell you not to smoke because you're at higher than normal risk for lung cancer!. Colon cancers, the doc may urge you to maintain a healthy diet!. These are things we're supposed to do anyway but if there is a history, the person should focus on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

X-rays cause exposure to radiation which is a known cause of cancer!. It wouldn't be a good idea to expose yourself to the radiation without good cause!.
MRI's are safe, but expensive, so they are only used to diagnose symptoms!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
