I've know a few compulsive liars, and they are still liars!.

The problems I see with them are so many!. Too long to really get into here, but I'll try!. The main problems are they think the rest of us are stupid enough to believe the b!.s!. they dish out, they have very low self esteem (but are braggarts), and don't think they have a problem that needs help!.

Are they cureable!? I really don't know, but I've never seen anyone recover - ever!. I avoid them like the plague (although there is one I occasionally must see, as this person is married to my sibling) !. The ones I know are what I call toxic people!.

They are extremely manipulative, demanding, controlling, sneaky and I believe mentally ill!. I'm no doctor, but I believe there is something wrong with people who lie about having cancer, being a war veteran, and so many other things!. I'm not talking a "white" lie here!.

The below link has some interesting information, but like I said - I've never seen a compulsive liar go for treatment, let alone be "cured"!. You can't fix a problem, if they won't admit to having one!.

If you have one in your life, I urge you to stay as far away from them as possible!. Trying to correct them, or point out obvious truths, will get you nowhere - I've tried that, too!. What I do with the one I must occasionally see, is to say that I disagree, or believe what they're saying isn't true!. Then I leave it at that, and don't argue!. What's the point of arguing!? They'd swear the sky was green and stick to it, if they'd just told it as one of their lies!. I just want to be sure this person knows I'm not as stupid as they wish I was and don't believe their b!.s!.

Good luck, but in my experience it's a life-long problem!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Practice honesty - sounds simple but it is hard!. Make a list of recent lies and then write the truth next to them - if the lies hurt someone apologize to that person when you know you will mean it!. Be strong and practice being truthful ask friends to help by gently correcting you (like a cough or ahem when they hear a fib coming on)!. Remember when you are honest you don't have to remember the lie you told or "keep a story going"!. Good Luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

well yeah it's called lie to him too, or if you are too good of a person maybe you should just dump him!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
