What are white carbs?!

Question: What are white carbs!?
Answers:
I think you may be referring to "simple" carbohydrates!. They got the name bacause many of the foods are white!. These include highly refined and processed foods such as baked goods (cakes, cookies, crakers) and processed grains such as "white" pasta, white bread and white rice!.

Highly processed and refined foods have little or no fiber in them, so the carbohydrates are absorbed quickly and may lead to rapid increases in blood sugar!. Diabetics should limit these kind of carbohydrates because they can make it difficult to manage blood sugar levels!.

Replace "white" carbohyrates with foods that are less refined and processed - whole grain breads, pasta, crackers and cereals!. The fiber has not been processed out of these foods!. Fiber allows for slower and more steady absorption of the carbohydrate, leading to fewer flucuations in blood sugar levels!. They also help you to feel fuller for a longer period of time, which can aid with weight loss!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
