Does MiraLAX cause diarrhea?!
Question: Does MiraLAX cause diarrhea!?
Ive been constipated, and i was wonder if anyone who has taken MiraLAx can help, what side affects are there!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Miralax is a drug used for constipation!. If taken too much it can cause diarrhea!. Too much is defined as taking 4 liters of it!. There are other products called NuLYTELY and GoLYTELY in which patients take the entire 4 liters (ingest 8 oz every 10 minutes) until gone to clean out the intestines before undergoing a colonoscopy!. (A procedure to look into the large and a small portion of the small intestines!.)
If take Miralax as directed on the bottle, you should not expereince diarrhea!. That being said, keep in mind, everyone has a different body and what you may need, may be more than what another person may need!. So for example, you may need 2 tablespoons to get you going where as others may need 3!. You will need to play with the dose to determine what is the best!.
Miralax is safe and has minimal side effects!.
