Answers:
Nope, salmonella is only transferable if you kiss or lick the reptile for example, or if you have a cut and soak it in your pet's water!. I've lived with turtle pets all my life, and I have never had any salmonella problems!. Be sure to wash your hands after handling it, though!. That's about it!.

No it is from contact not airborne!.
It is unwise to have reptiles around the elderly or young kids!. Of course, washing your hands after handling them, as you would with raw meat, pretty much nullifies these risks, however, for some reason, reptiles do carry quite a few diseases that can be transmitted to humans and vice versaWww@Answer-Health@Com

I know people with a bearded dragon in their living room if that helps!. But isn't if you put cooked and uncooked meat on the same shelf or near each other in a fridge, the cooked meat can get it from the uncooked!. Or vice versa!.!.!? But maybe the little germies crawl along the fridge!.!.!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is not airborne!. You can get it by handling the dragon, its waste and food!. Practice meticulous hand washing after you handle the animal or anything in its cage!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

no, basic hygiene procedures will stop you from getting it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
