Question: How do i tell my mom i think i have syphillis!? :(
I have posted a question about a re occuring sore on my genitals, and my symptoms i have had represent those of syphilis rather than herpes!. Im very worried because i hear in the latter stage it affects your organs and can cause you to have mental problems, and recently i was diagnosed with depressive disorder with psychosis with a secondary of schizophrenia!. no one else in my family history has psychosis or schizophrenia, and im scared its caused by what might be syphilis!.
i want to ask my mom to take me to the doctor so i can get tested for std's but im scared as to what she will say!. How is syphilis transmitted!? yes i have had unsafe sex, and i have also gotten a very unsafe tattoo, dirty!. :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

The first stage of syphilis, where the sore occurs, tends not to be recurring: generally, a sore appears that is more like an ulcer than the blisters of herpes!. Often, the syphilis chancre is relatively painless, too!. The usual progression of the disease is then for the sore to disappear, and in some weeks for a rash to appear on your body!. often, this takes the form of a VERY distinctive rash on the palms of your hands and your feet, but sometimes it is less obvious!. The third stage can indeed affect other organs, however this tends to be a long-term thing!. I suspect that, unless you've experienced the rash, it's more likely you have herpes!.
Syphilis is generally spread through sex with someone who is in the first stage of the disease: the other stages are not infectious!.
However, syphilis is very easily treated: all that is needed is a course of penicillin!.Perhaps just ask your mum to take you to the doctor, and then tell the doc your issues!. you have a right to confidentiality!. Also check your area for a sexual health clinic: they often provide free and confidential treatment/testing!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

just be honest with her!. i mean from what i hear your mom is gonna be really mad but she will get over it as time passes!. because if you wait longer it will get worse!.
you can get syphilis but giving a ******* sexual intercourse etc!.

wow!. you really need to go to the doctor if you think you have syphillis!. If you catch it early, you have a much better chance of getting rid of it!. If you aren't ready to tell your mom, find a clinic or something near you!. They are always around and you dont need a parent to go with you!. But to make it easier, tell your mom and im pretty sure she will be upset, but she will make the right steps to help you get better!. if you are worried about syphilis you need to get a blood test!. you can hypothosize all you want but that's the only way to figure it out!.
your psychiatric symptoms may be causing you to focus on an illness when that is not the case!. just rule it out!. yes, unsafe sex, in any form, can transmit it!.

only way to get this nasty die=sease is sexually you may have a discharge also!.go to the health department its free!.then if you need to tell mom then do it they will treat you free!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I would go right out and say you made a mistake!. Admit you've made mistakes, and your mom will be appreciative of that i promise!. Cry too, she'll be less angry if at all ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com
