I have a cough and cold, could it affect the result of my x-ray?!

Question: I have a cough and cold, could it affect the result of my x-ray!?
Answers:
If you have a simple cold and you are not coughing too much, you can take an x-ray without being affected!. Inform the technician and she/he will allow you to cough prior to taking the test so that your diaphragm will be relaxed!. An x-ray is usually performed quickly!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not at all!. Could have been someone may have sneezed something airborne in the space around you at the time and you inhaled something causing the cough and cold!. Intake plenty of vitamin c and water and get proper rest and hope you'll get well soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you cough when they take the picture your movement would probably blur the picture but otherwise no!. x-rays detect calcium and unless your mucus is made up of calcium you should have nothing to worry about!. Ask your x-ray technician if you are worried thoughWww@Answer-Health@Com

The only way it could effect your x-ray would be if you coughed in the middle of it!. Other than that, they just will be able to see what might be causng your cough!. Feel better!Www@Answer-Health@Com
