How do you get diabetes??!

Question: How do you get diabetes!?!?
Answers:
Let's get one thing straight that I still occasionally see:
There are THREE types of diabetes, and I'll briefly explain how each of them are contracted:
Type1 Diabetes (Also known as Insulin dependant or Juvenile onset diabetes) is a currently incurable disease that can be caused in a couple of ways, but the 2 most common are where there are genetic factors in your genes that lead to your immune system basically attacking the alpha cells in your pancrease that produce the enzyme insulin which regulates blood glucose levels, the immune system can be triggered to attack the pancrease by a simple infection, high stress levels, traumatic injury or or simply by a chance action, afterwhich, with the body unable to produce adequet amounts of insulin, the symptoms of having diabetes start to show and you officially have Type 1 diabetes!. The second major cause of diabetes is environmental conditions such as exposure to toxic substances or contracting one of a few afflictions such as Pancreatitis or pancreatic cancer or experiencing a traumatic injury such as a car crash that damages the insulin producing cells in the pancrease, leading to the onset of diabetes!.

The second type of diabetes, Type 2 (also known as Non-insulin dependant diabetes) is caused mainly by being overweight which causes the body to either not produce enough insulin, or in some cases for the body to ineffectively absorb the body's insulin causing elevated blood glucose levels and essentially causing the individual to contract diabetes, this is the most common type of diabetes and thankfully it is usually curable or easily treatable with controlled diets and weight loss and in some cases the use of oral medications which help the body to either better absorb or to make more insulin to lower blood glucose levels!.

The third type of diabetes, Gestational Diabetes (also called type 3 Diabetes) is only found in pregnant women and is caused when the unusual hormone levels in the blood affect the insulins ability to lower blood glucose levels to an acceptable level, it is usually treated with controlled diets and oral medications until the baby is delivered at which point the diabetes usually goes away within a week or so!.

Those are the three main types of diabetes that I am aware of and their causes and treatments, I hope that helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
