Tears before you die.!

Question: Tears before you die!.
is this normal!? My grandma passed away yesterday at seven am and the maid (who was present while she passed) said that there were tears!. Take into account that my grandma was slowly dying from cancer and had completely lost speech and memory by the time she was like this!. :( She was basically a vegetable on life support but then they took her off!. I know that people, right before they die, usually take this one last big sigh of breath but do they cry too!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

This happened to my own Dear Mother upon her death!. I sat with her for 12 hours after she had a massive aneurysm break in her brain!. She was in a coma the whole 12 hours and was unresponsive!. I held her hand and if she knew I was there, if she was able, she would have squeezed my hand even a wee bit if she could!. At the moment of her death tears fell from her eyes!. At the time I thought perhaps she came out of her coma at the same time she was dying, realized what was happening and the tears fell!. But after researching the issue, I found that once her body relaxes (as another poster stated here) the tears were a natural way of releasing bodily fluids!.
I lost my best friend that morning!.!. and even tho I now know what the tears are all about, I still think of her tears as her crying with me!. Mom and I did pretty much everything together!.!. so in my mind this eases me somewhat!.
I am so sorry for your loss of your Grandma!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not really!. The "big last breath" is not usually true either (but it could happen I guess)!.

Most people pass away completely quietly!. Their heart stops and they just stop breathing!. No real sounds, nothing!. As anyone who has worked as a doctor or nurse will know, the actual moment of dying is different from person to person, and also depends on the cause of death too!. There are some common effects like irregular breathing up to the moment of death, and hallucinations can occur in people who are still conscious, but I haven't heard of "tears" before!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your body does empty alot of fluids, like the bladder when you die!.

Because the muscles holding the ducts back relax due to death!.

Never heard of crying upon death, but I woudlent doubt it could happenWww@Answer-Health@Com

No, crying is not normal!. Her eyes could have teared up from irritation, maybe stirred up by what the maid was cleaning at the time!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
