Whats it feel like when your throat closes up?!
Question: Whats it feel like when your throat closes up!?
and can you still talk and swallow!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
In the very beginning you can talk and swallow, then things start to go downhill fast!. Talking becomes impossible as you're trying to just get enough air in to continue to breathe, you get gasping and if you try to drink or swallow you might just choke on whatever you're trying to ingest!.
I've had several times where it feels like I'm trying to suck air through a straw, only it's also muffled with a wet washcloth!. Then I start to feel panicky, since breathing gets so hard, and it makes it a lot worse!. My sides and chest end up throbbing from struggling to pull in air and it is like you're drowning, it's terrifying!.
Asthma & panic attacks feel similar, with not being able to pull in a deep breath, with a sensation of drowning in your own fluids :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have asthma and a lot of allergies, so I've experienced a few scary moments!. It's sort of like try to breath through a broken straw!. It depends on how tight your throat closes up!. You can still sort of talk and swallow but it certainly doesn't feel good, sometimes it feels like when you swallow, like you;ll never be able to breath again!. I hope to never experience it again :P

I only had it happen once!. I'm allergic to shellfish!. Luckily it only closed partially, but it reminded me of when I had pneumonia and bronchitis!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
