Question: I'm freaking out about this superbug thing
i went to the doctor today and he said i had MRSA!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and he drew a line around the area with a ballpoint pen and told me to take a picture of it!. it is now swollen outside of the line and it keeps itching (i'm not scratching it it hurts to touch it) and sometimes the very center will start hurting really bad!. i'm going to another doctor tomorrow to get a 2nd opinion!. has anyone had this!? what were you're experiences, is my skin going to rot off my arm!? oh god!.!.!.!.!.sorry i'm just freaking out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Be calm!. MRSA is an everyday occurence and is treatable, although antibiotics are now not very effective against some strains!. The strain you are freaking out about is USA300, which carries the PVL toxin!.
If you had this particular strain, you would be in hospital right now, having the infected tissue cut out!. So, you obviously have a different and more common strain, usually type 12 or 13!.

If your doctor says you have MRSA then you probably do!. Get medical treatment for it immediately though, my friend had it and they cut the infected area off!. and yes, you are freaking out a little bit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
