Answers:
One is commonly know as a staph infection which covers a variety of internal and external infections!. It is a very large group of microorganisms!. The other is Diptheria, a disease that is most commonly caused by unsanitary living conditions and I believe is water borneWww@Answer-Health@Com

Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermis are bacterium that live on your skin surface!. Staph!.aureus predominantly hives in the nasal passages, auxilla (armpits) and groin areas!. Although normally harmless, Staph!.aureus can cause serious infections when allowed access to the bloodstream!.

Although S!. epidermidis is usually non-pathogenic, it is an important cause of infection in patients whose immune system is compromised, or who have indwelling catheters!. Many strains produce a biofilm that allows them to adhere to the surfaces of medical prostheses!.

Staph!. epidermidis is Gram Positive, meaning it stains purple in Gram stain!. Staph!. epidermidis and Staph!.aureus are both often resistant to a wide variety of antibiotics, including penicillin and methicillin!.

Diphtheria is a serious and highly contagious disease caused by bacteria called Corynebacterium diptheriae!. This disease affects the upper respiratory tract (nose, throat, voice box and upper windpipe) and occasionally, the skin!. It can affect anyone, at any age and can be fatal!.

Some nondiphtheria species of Corynebacterium produce disease in specific animal species, and some of these are also human pathogens!. Some species attack healthy hosts, and others attack immunosuppressed hosts!. Some of their effects include granulomatous lymphadenitis, pneumonitis, pharyngitis, skin infections, and endocarditis!. Endocarditis caused by Corynebacterium spp!. is particularly seen in patients with indwelling intravascular devices!.

Infection by diphtheroids tend to occur in elderly, neutropenic, or immunocompromised patients, and those who have indwelling prosthetic devices such as heart valves, neurologic shunts, or catheters!.

All are commensal skin flora and part of the bacterial 'make-up' of the human body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
