Will wart remover on my face scar?!

Question: Will wart remover on my face scar!?
I had a wart on my face so I tried salicylic acid wart remover!. I noticed that after three times of use my skin around the wart became very irritated!. I later read on line that this stuff could cause chemical burning if applied to bare skin!. Yikes! is this true!? Will I have a third degree burn on my face or will it just be red for a week!?

Also, please excuse the fact that I was stupid for trying it on my face in the first place!. I was desperate then and I'm even more so now!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

First consideration: A wart on the face is extremely rare!. Are you sure it's a wart!?

What do the package directions have to say about use on the sensitive skin of the face, and do they give directions for protecting surrounding skin!?

I recommend stopping immediately, letting the skin heal, and then a visit to a doctor who will "freeze" it (if it is in fact a wart) off!. As to whether the acid burn is sufficient to leave a scar, only time will tell!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In future if there is a wart on your face, consult a dermatologist because skin there is much more sensitive than on your hands or feet etc!.

Bah don't worry!. You didn't know, I probably would have done the same thing!

Check with your dermaT and don't apply anything else!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah!.!.!.you shouldn't have used it on your face, I believe it even says so on the bottle!. You very well may have a scar there!. I used that type of wart remover on my hands about two months ago and I have scars!. I'd go to the doctor if I were you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
