There might be something wrong with my heart?!
Question: There might be something wrong with my heart!?
I had an appointment to get my heart examined because I was diagnosed with having syncope episodes!. I was laying on the bed undergoing my exam when I heard the technician telling the student that there was an MR on my heart!. I also heard her keep saying that she couldn't see valves!. What does this mean!? What is an MR!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm guessing that you were having an echocardiogram (an ultrasound of the heart) - if this is the case, 'MR' stands for 'mitral regurgitation', which means your mitral valve is leaky!. The degree of this can range from trivial and of no concern to abig acute leak which needs repairing (no way of telling by your story)!.
The technician not being able to see valves is likely due to technical difficulties (perhaps you are overweight); it is very highly unlikely that the valves are not there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
