Long story, should i get this shot?!

Question: Long story, should i get this shot!?
I woke up one morning and there was a bat between my screen window and my regular window, both were open, so the potentially rabid bat could have bit me and gave me rabies!. It was just sleeping upside down hanging on the window!. Im wondering if i should get vaccinated because i dont think it had rabies since it was in its usual routine and all it did was sleep during the day like its suppose to and when it was dark it flew away (I know, my stupid mistake for not catching it and bringing it in)!. I cant find a bite anywhere but bat bites arent visible anyway!. Im only 14 and im kind of scared, what do i do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Rabies can Only be confirmed in a laboratory- However any bat that is active by day is found in places where bats are not usually seen or is unable to FLY are far more likely to to be rabid!.( not saying this one was)If this bat was between the screen and window you are most likely safe!. since youu seen the critter there asleep!.You did see if fly off!. maybe if got tired and found this secure spot and hung out till dark and took off!. Me I would not get all the painful shots!.But this is up to you really!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bats are Nature's friends: they flit about at dusk and clear the area of small bugs, mosquitoes, etc!. With no bite signs, no redness/swelling/soreness/pain: you likely were not bitten!. You should ask Mom or Dad for a screen to keep crittrs out, anyhow!. Rabies shots are painful, but way better than the disease! Make sure you tell your Mom, she should be aware!. If it's been over a week, it's too late now for shots!. A doctor can reassure you; worrying isn't healthy!. Good luck1 :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
