Question: My grandmas get a lot swelling in her left ankle and won't go to the doctor
Any ideas what is could be!? I'm worried because my other grandma had swelling in her ankles and it turns out to be hodgkins lymphoma!.

Hi!. My grandma has just been to the docs for the same reason, only both ankles swollen!. She was tod to go straight to hospital as it could be a sign of a blood clot, luckily it was not as serious and was water retention which she needs tablets for!. Im not sure how to get your gandma to the docs though!. Good luck xWww@Answer-Health@Com
Ring the doc, explain the situation to him/her and ask if they will come round (but not say they are a doctor) - if you understand my meaning!.
We had to do this once for a friends grandma!. She was adament she wouldn't see anyone, so the doc came round under the pretence of being a friend!. They happened to mention they worked in medicine and they could see there was a problem (this was her wrist)!.!.!.!.worked out well!.

it's called peripheral edema!.!.!.could be a whole bunch of reasons, eg!. lack of exercise!. or congenital heart failure!. anyway, consult a doctor as soon as you can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It could be that she has every right not to have to obey you and go see a doctor!. Just respect her life choice or when you get to that age, no one will respect yours!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Before bed have her rub witchhazel on it!. It'll feel better in the morning!. Lots of tender love helps to as there are ways to make her feel special!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
