Question: How common can a cold sore affect me if it was on the pillow!?
This girl i met about 3 months ago never shows any signs of a cold sore!. I checked her lips when we were out to eat and their where no bumps or outbreaks anywhere!. We never kissed either all we did was rest our heads on a pillow!. It's not like she spitted on my pillow or rubbed her lips on it!. So i assumed she does not have herpes!. i basiclly left the pillow alone for about 4 hours later which should be long enough for the virus to die even if she did leave something on the sheets right!? We did not kiss or anything, didn't even share drinks together so whats the chances of me being affected by herpes!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Firstly, if she is showing so signs of Herpes, why are you in such a panic!? Has she told you that she is a carrier!? Secondly, you will not contract herpes from lying on a pillow that she used, especially if she did not have a cold sore while she used it!. If you're that panicked over it, wash the pillowcase and seek a psychologist!. OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive disorder) is a common disorder that usually surfaces in young adults!.
