well, me and my neighbor use to kiss alot , we kissed about 28 times, but we never frenched kissed or really done any thing else but lay down next to her we really really like each other but then i heard of meningitis and im kinda afraid because im only 11 years old, well ok i turned 11 today ~ PLZ ! someone help me, this was our first french kiss, and i stopped because i said wait this is not right, she said why !? because i heard of a deasise called meningitis and it can kill you, she said well i love u alot and i still wanna kiss u, so then we didnt no what to do, someone plz tell me if we can still kiss or we cant OR somethin plz :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are right around the age where doctors recommend the meningitis vaccination!. It won't completely protect you from getting it, but it will help!. When it comes down to it, meningitis is very rare, it can be deadly but that is also very rare!. Honestly, it wouldn't be on my mind at all!.

Meningitis is a very highly infectious disease and rare!. You can get it through everything!. I dont want to scare you, but, you can get if from just regular kissing, not just frenching!. You can also get if from laying down next to her!. Dont worry, I dont think you have it!. There is a vaccine out to prevent you from getting meningitis in the future!. Talk to your parents and doctor about your fears about it!. Your doctor will explain the vaccine and disease better than I can!. Get the vaccine if you are really anxious about contracting it!. You dont have to explain what you are doing with your neighbor!. Though i think you are a little too young to be doing that!.
