A high protein diet may be the cause of cancer more than smoking?!

Question: A high protein diet may be the cause of cancer more than smoking!?
Some recent research has said that the Western diet (USA) consumes more meat/protein than many other countries and also has one of the highest cancer rates!.!.!. China and Japan for example, smoke a considerable amount, but focus more on eating mainly fruits and vegtables and grains, with protein eaten about 3 times a week, red meat about twice a month! There has to be some relation to cancer from our diet!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
In fact Japan has high rates of stomach cancer; and while the west has higher cancer rates, the percentage of survivors is higher too!.

There are no foods proven to prevent cancer; a diet high in meat is linked to colorectal cancers but as far as I know hasn't been definitely linked to other cancers!.

And I've no axe to grind here - I'm a vegan!. A vegan who, despite a largely organic diet packed with fruit and veg - and by definition no meat - developed an aggressive cancer!.

Meat doesn't make your stomach or blood more acidic!. No foods can change the acidity of anything in your body except your urine!. Your stomach is so acidic that no food can change its acidity!.
