Is it arthritis? My middle finger....!

Question: Is it arthritis!? My middle finger!.!.!.!.
My middle finger of my left hand does not want to bend forward and make a fist as it is too stiff and very painful if I try and make it!. It also does not want to straighten out!.

I showed it to the GP who just said "nothing"!. I do know I have RA serum negative and OA!.

Point is if I massage it a little and it is very painful to do that, it will allow more movement!. Or if I deliberately bend it and it is painful, I can get some movement!. This is all of a sudden, well within the last month!.

So any arthritis sufferers or professionals out there!.!.!.

Is this normal!?
What can I do!?
Any ways of making it work or am I storing up more problems for myself!?
Allergic to painkillers including anything to do with aspirin, and also dairy milk that is on the outside of most tablets!.

Do take supplements and this is not the only place that is painful but I can sit down if my hips hurt!.

Please help me!? I am really fearful of having to give up my hobbies of music playing and embroidery and other crafts!.

Thanks GWww@Answer-Health@Com

Is it on the hand you write with!? Or do you play sports or do any crafts that involves applying pressure to the finger!? I wouldn't want to say if it is arthritis or not as I'm not qualified to do so but i have similar symptoms on my little finger on my left hand, caused by the pressure i put on it when I write!. It is very very painful and I cannot write for a long time without having to strap it so it is completely straight (which hurts a lot) My doctor said it is disfigured from years of writing- even though I am only in my 20s and says that it could be artritis (not very helpful!.) The knuckle joint on my finger is really swollen permanently and the finger is very disfigured!. I'm a teacher so worried too but like you have had no joy in getting a definite diagnosis or possible treatments!. I just try to fight the urge for it to curl up and try to keep it straight as much as possible and this helps with the pain!. In the meantime I'm teaching myself to write with my right hand- just in case! Sorry this isn't very helpful but I do feel your pain- literally!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depending on how old you are and how long you spend on the computer, you may have carpal tunnel syndrome!. My symptoms were close to yours, so if it is CTS, take your regular anti-inflammatory (Advil works for me) and go to Longs Drugs or another drug store and pick up a small wrist brace!. You don't need immobilization, but it'll keep your wrist stable for long enough for the inflammation to decrease!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

anti inflammatory are good if taken long term
also cod liver oil
try glucozamine which you can buy over the counter Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes I take the glucosomine but the one with Chondroitin!. Also I avoid eating tomatoes and lemons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
