Can you help me with my allergy problem?!

Question: Can you help me with my allergy problem!?
I love to go swimming, but I break out in hives, I have been told I am allergic to something in the water, I can have a shower that is no problems, but the swimming pool, river and even the ocean, about 5 minutes in the water I get hives, the worst is the ocean, my hand swells up twice the size and goes white,

I have been to lots of Doctors but all tests have come back negative, so that is why the Doctors think that is something to do with the water,

Has anyone else gone through this and how can I fix it because I love swimming!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some scientists have discovered that some people are allergic to algae-- the green stuff that grows in bodies of water!. I bet you weren't tested for that one!. Check out the info!. at the source below!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, I am sure you have come to the conclusion!.!.!.it's something in the water!. You could possible take some antihistamines before you go into the water, however your doctor will need to prescribe those, just because of the potential drowsiness they may cause!. I would keep checking with other doctors though, especially allergists!. Do you get hives when you get into the shower!? It could be chlorine in the pool or even salt water in the ocean!. It could also be the temperature of the water, allowing your body's immune system to kick in, trying to fight what is going on!. These are just possible cases, unfortunately not really any solutions, but those will come when you have a better idea on exactly what could be causing your hives!. Keep a journal for a little while and try and find the differences between the different kinds of water your body is being exposed to!. Share these findings with your allergist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you are probably allergic to the chlorine in the water!. they add chemicals to public pools to disinfect and make the water safe and bacteria free for swimmers cuz people like to pee and #2 and do other stuff in the water!. So I would put my money that you are having an allergic reaction to the chemicals added to the water!. Cuz Im sure you dont break out in hives when you take a shower right!? Also, maybe you can try a test, take extra strength reactine or claritin anti-histamine an HOUR or two BEFORE you swim and see if you break out,!. you might have to take these pills for a good week or two before you go into the pool, I say this because it takes your body time to accept the pill and build up the medicine in your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Something similar to that happened to me once, and it may have something to do with the temperature of the water!. Cold water sometimes made me break out, But in about a year you may grow out of it!. I did!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
