Question: Has anyone ever used bactrim
my dermatologist put me on bactrim for my acne since tetracycline and minocycline and other anti biotics haven't work !.!.

I'm on it right now!. I think it helps!. Tetracycline didn't help me either!. Right now I'm on Bactrim, ProActive, birth conrtol, and retin-A!. My acne is getting under control more each and everyday!. If Bactrim isn't cutting it when used by itself, I suggest you try some of the things I am!. It'll work for you I'm sure!. Good Luck! I don't know how effective Bactrim is against acne, but make sure your doctor is aware of any allergic reactions you or your family has had any history of!. My father is allergic to medications made from Streptomyces bacterium, or any medication that ends with -cycline, and knowing that, my doctor should have been more cautious with his prescription!. However, he was not cautious, and I suffered an agonizing bout of hives, nausea, vomiting and dizziness due to my allergy to anything sulfa-based!. It was a terrible experience and there was nothing that could be done to make it a more comfortable state for me!. I was miserable!. Good luck to you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Hey there! Usually Bactrim is used for cuts!. I know Because I had bactrim tetracycline a couple weeks ago when I cut my head!. For acne I'm not sure, but My cut went away just a week later!.
Have you tried proactive yet!? It stopped working for me but it still workd for others!. Also try the Clean and Clear Advantage kit!. It's pretty good!
Also remember: DRINK TONS OF WATER!. DAILY!. I drink up to 4 1 liters of water everyday!. I don't drink pop at all and have cut fast food out of my diet! This has Helps TONS!Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is gonna sound crazy but I use the bactrim cream for a growth on the side of my dogs face and it seems to be working just fine on him!. I was given this idea by a EMT one night who had used it for a cut on his dog!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Bactrim is Sulfa!. It can help with acme!. Make for sure you drink a full 8oz of water when taking the medication!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
