Question: Which is the better insulin pump: Animas 2020 or Omnipod!?

You can order a two day trial of the omnipod from their website to get a feel for the device!.
The pumps are pretty matched in what they do!. You just need to figure out which form factor you want - with the Animas you're going to have tubing going from yourself to the pump!. With the omnipod you'll have just the pod on you (which is really quite small) which you can control from an external meter/remote!. It all comes down to what you feel comfortable with!. One isn't necessarily better then the other!. And both offer pretty good customer support!.
Ask your endocrinologist if there are any pump training classes you can take - some medical groups offer that!. That way you could get an idea of how they work (i!.e!.: try them on) on you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use the Animas 2020 and it's great!. I was thinking about getting the omnipod when I was 'pump shopping' but when I tried it on, it felt too bulky for my liking!. Both the omnipod and Animas have 'remotes' that double as BG meters!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Medtronic Paradigm!. It works hand in hand with a blood tester!. They communicate with each other to prevent highs and lows!.
It also is the only pump to have a 24 hour blood glucose sensor!. It alarms when the blood sugar goes to high or low!.

I have the OmniPod and absolutley LOVE it!.
It has no wire's which is really good!.
And it's waterprooff!

i would say omnipod b/c you dont have to wear it on your belt!. its wireless!. well tubeless!.
