Question: I have an inhaler and I need to bring it to school but i haven't told the school that I have it

I have never told my schools over the years that I have carried an inhaler with me!. If you have control over your asthma and can tell when you are getting symptoms, you probably don't need to!. However, if you have a severe asthma attack and no one knows about your condition it could come back to haunt you!. If the school nurse already has your history of asthma on file, finding you in possession of an inhaler would most likely not punished!. They'd probably just want a note from your doctor to clear it!. If your asthma isn't known by the school, you should be more careful about getting caught with it as it can be punished as drug use if school officials feel so inclined!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You need to advise the school that you have asthma and carry the inhaler!. If anything should happen the school needs to understand how to treat you and your condition!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
If you were in our school district, they would take it away from you and call your parents!. Our kids need a Dr!. note to let the kids have one!. So you are better to follow the school rules and not get your self in trouble!.

they cant take it away coz u can die from asthma so dont worry u can keep it with you you should notify the school matron/nurse just to be on the safe sideWww@Answer-Health@Com
