Hyperlipidemia, or high cholesterol, almost always is genetic!. You mention that it runs in your family!.
Eating pizza or not eating it is not going to make your cholesterol go away, it sure doesn't help it if you eat it!.
Now, in moderation, it cannot be that harmful!.

In younger population, modifying what they eat is not as essential as in older, although only 10% of cholesterol is taken in, foods, but 90% of it is what your liver produces!.

Talk to your doctor see if it is necessary for you to be on medication!. If you are an adult heart scanning may be a good way to determine if you have coronary artery disease or not!. If you don't who cares if you have high cholesterol or not!.

Eggs are not the cause of your high cholesterol!. The only bad part of pizza is the added sugar and the crust!. Do not believe the drug companies when they give you the wrong diet and when it does not work, they tell you " it must be hereditary" so you think you have no choice but to take their drugs!. Controlling your insulin is 10 times more important than artificially lowering your cholesterol!. Control your insulin, eat whole natural foods, eliminate trans-fats, take fish oil or cod liver oil, eat natural saturated fats, avoid vegetable oils!. Your cholesterol will return to normal for you, not the ridiculously low numbers used to sell drugs!. Guess why they keep lowering the acceptable level!? The drugs do not work so they conclude that the level must not be low enough!. People die of heart attacks every day that have normal, low, or very low cholesterol levels!. Low levels of cholesterol have been shown to correlate with SHORTER life!.

Pizza is usually loaded with cholesterol; however, you can make your own pizza at home using recipes that contain far less cholesterol than pizzas you get from chain stores or restaurants!. You can make dough that has no cholesterol, use olive oil that contains the "good fats" and use fat-free cheese that is very low in cholesterol (but not cholesterol-free)!. Making pizza dough is really easy if you get a mixmaster to prepare the dough!. You can make an entire pizza with about 5mg cholesterol; compared to 109 mg of cholesterol in a 14" thin crust Domino's pizza!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

There is no such thing as a stupid question about your health!. Yep, pizza sure can raise your cholesterol level!. Eggs also!. Since you have a family history of high cholesterol you'll have to go easy on all fatty foods!. How about 2% milk, butter substitute, no fried foods, no french fries and so forth!. Usually a sensible diet and meds will keep you safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
