Something with protein so that it will break down slowly!.
I usually keep it to cottage cheese with something, like whole wheat crackers or some fruit!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try nuts (your choice, unsalted); hot air popcorn, piece of fruit, vegetables!.
One thing I did was create my own "trail mix"!. I went to the bulk section of the supermarket and bought unsalted peanuts, almonds, brazilan nuts, cashews, sunflower seeds, and added raisins for sweetness!. When I got hungry, I grabbed a handful!. Plenty of protein and very few carbs!. You can eliminate the raisins if they bother you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A big salad! That is what I made myself a lot of nights when I was pregnant and my diabetes were in full swing!. It fills you up without affecting your sugars too much!. I put cheddar cheese and a few crushed sroutons on it and maybe some bacon bits depending on my mood!. Then some sort of semi healthy dressing sparingly!. It was a great snack!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
