Help! need some advice.?!

Question: Help! need some advice!.!?
So over the years i have noticed that I am ALWAYS tired!. I can sleep for 12-13 hours and STILL be completely exhausted!. Then the headaches and muscle aches started coming but I just thought i was over exerting myself!. I began to have a lot of problems with bowel movements recently where sometimes i would not go for weeks at a time!. my doctor assured me it was IBS(irritable bowel syndrome)!. I finally went to my gyno because I was experiencing thinning hair and hair loss!. I thought it could be due to my birth control pills!. He ran some tests and it came back that I have a TSH of 5!.5!. So he informed me to see my GP!. I went there today and the doctor told me i'm fine and there is nothing to worry about and we will recheck in 6 weeks!. I feel sick in general, and I don't think this is right!. I researched and found that the average is now between 0!.5 and 3!.0!. so that would mean i am above!?!?!? does anyone think i should maybe see another doctor for a second opinion or an endocrinologist!?!? or wait out the 6 weeks!?!? maybe someone can help me decide!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your situation!.

I believe there is an answer!. Your thyroid needs to be checked at once!. Many of the symptoms you have described describe most thyroid issues!. So please do consult with an endocrinologist!.

Thyroid issue will most likely be the problem!. It MUST register as a prime suspect in the mind of any self-respecting doctor!. Change your doctor immediately!.

Other less likely suspects are a low-grade exposure to poisons/toxins!. And I would have suggested Eppstein-Barr virus, if not for you mentioning alopecia (hair loss)!.

I wish you all the very best! There is an answer!. Your endocrinologist will find it!.

If i were you, i would start out with a different doctor for a 2nd opinion, have the 2nd doc write an order for a complete blood panel prior to the visit, and take a copy of your previous lab results to the new doc!.

If your thyroid is normal, then you symptoms may be caused by something like fibromyalgia or adrenal insufficiency!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you been experiencing severe stress!? It seems it is possible that those are the psychical symptoms relating to stress and depression!. I am not saying "It is all in your head", but that your body is breaking down due to stress!. of course, i am nto a dcotro and it could also be other things as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep going to Doctors until one takes you seriously!. You sound like you have a classic case of hyperthyroidism!.

Take control of your health and don't take any $hit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
