Question: My friend has one intestine, but why!?
So what does she have to put up with because of it!? How could she only have ONE!? Did she do something to her body to need it removed!? Maybe she was born that way!? Idk!. I heard she has a colostumy bag!. She told me she only has one intestine and that was all she spoke of it!. She likes to party(drinks), and has a great personality!. If she has a colostomy bag it means her colon has been removed!. It is very unlikely she could have something to her body to need it removed, it is usually removed due to disease!. Usually a portion of the end of the large intestine is left and is drawn out through an incision of the abdomen and sutured to the skin!. After a colectomy, feces leave the patient's body through the abdomen and into the colostomy bag that is worn on the outside of her body!. a colostomy bag is usually used when the sphincter (mussel in the bum) has either been removed due to problems, cancer is most usual, or it has naturally nit developed!. It is not possible to not have the small intestine or the large intestine!. they both act in different ways and do different jobs!. The small intestine takes up the nutrients and the large intestine, collects waste (feces) and extracts water!. With out the small intestine it would be impossible to have a nutrients absorbed into the system and with out the large intestine, there would be no watter extracted into the watter!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
