Recently found out I have a small cyst in my brain?!
Question: Recently found out I have a small cyst in my brain!?
It was a coincidental finding after a precautionary MRI I had following a severe migraine which had me hospitalised!.
Even though my neurologist said it was unrelated with the migraines he gave me no reason to worry but I suppose I am a bit freaked out to see my brain scan showing that I have this 'malteser' sized cyst inside my left temporal lobe!. He said I was probably born with it and I have to go back in a year for another scan to check it's not growing!. It's apparently asymptomatic but I worry about it growing and affecting me mentally!.
Does anyone have anything like this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

if your neurologist doesn't want to see you for a year he must be very confident that it isn't going to cause you any problems!.
Try to forget about it until the time of your next appointment!. Obviously, if you think you have any symptoms that could be related to this, you will go back to your doctor anyway!.
Please just relax and tell yourself that if you hadn't had the scan you wouldn't have known it was there anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
