Can I be allergic to corn husk?!
Question: Can I be allergic to corn husk!?
!.!.but not corn itself!?
I eat corn just fine, never had a problem with it that I can recall!. However, whenever I prepare corn (remove the husk) it always makes me itchy and red, and sometimes even gives me hives wherever it has touched my skin!. I don't get that problem with corn with the husk already removed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is very possible, although I am unfamiliar with it!. Also, you could be allergic to something associated with unhusked corn, like pesticides, bugs, or soils that are still residually on the corn husk!. I would google corn husk allergies and see if there is anyone else suffering from you malady!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Theres probably a pesticide on the husks!. If you can touch corn the husks shouldnt give you a problem!. They could also have been sprayed to keep the riper!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
