This person's skin is not bad at all, they should be able to take care of it themselves at home!. Tell them to buy an exfoliating scrub like Saint Ives and use it twice daily to keep their face clean!. Also using a toner after this will help to kill bacteria in the pores!. At the end, be sure to use an oil free moisturizer so that the skin will not become dry!.

In order to get rid of the scarring they should use a microdermabrasion kit which can be purchased at most drug stores!. There are small machines for this or kits like the one from Olay which will gently remove the top layer of skin and eventually reduce scarring!.

Lastly, if they are willing to spend a lot of money they can purchase the Clarisonic!. I have been using this machine for months and it has helped my scarring which is much worse than your friend's!. It also makes your face feel amazingly clean and smooth like nothing else and in my opinion is definitely worth the money!. Using this has also reduced my acne by ~70%!.

If none of these options work they can see a dermatologist although this can be very expensive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can get acne for a long time!. He should start by WASHING his face, with warm water ( not hot but warm ) thatll loosen the oil and wash it off!. Then he can try some acne wash like Proactiv or neautrogena ( those work really well i prefer Proactiv ) But he can start by washing his face with warm water!. If all else fails he can go to a dermatologist and get his skin checked and get something prescribed just for him!. You can get a hold of a dermatologist through a local hospital!. Hello,

I would really have said that the picture shows Acne vulgaris and nothing else!. He has a lot of 'blackheads,' and also inflamed papules on his left cheek!.

I don't think there is such a thing as 'impossible' in medicine!. I agree with the previous answerer that's that what it is!. Acne can be life-long sometimes, but usually it improves in your 20's or 30's!.

I think Acne treatment will help it!. I would advise against pursuing the avenue of lasers at the moment!.

I hope this is of some help!.

Best wishes,
