Boyfriend diagnosed with blood cancer - 25% chance of beating it and best girl friend diagnosed with colon cancer - 40% chance of surviving it!.!.!.help!.!.!? what's a friend to do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

The first thing you need to do is to stop calling this 'terminal cancer' !. !. especially if your boyfriend has a 25 percent chance and your best girl friend has a 40 percent chance !. !. !. those percentages are better than nothing!.

What you need to do is support each one of these people with encouragement!. Treat the same as you have always treated them!. Enjoy their company, be their friend !. !. they just want to live normally as much as possible!.

Perhaps one thing you could do is to become educated about their disease and locate excellent treatment options for them!? Join support groups, do the research, offer to travel with them for second or third opinions, seek out the best doctors and cancer facillities !. !. and never give up hope that they will be in the percentile that survives their cancer!.

When my son was diagnosed his pediatric oncologist said to ignore the percentages !. !. that they are meaningless because everyone is an individual and reacts to treatments differently!. Statistics are not for an individual patient!.

I feel bad hearing this!.!. but all a friend can do!.!. is always be there for them!. He/she may sometimes feel very frustrated, and of course depress!. Being a friend, you can always encourage them, help them whenever they need help!. Talk to them!. Whatever they wish to eat or go, abide by their wishes!. Always try to make them happy, allow yourself to be a good-listener, listen to all their thoughts, their pain!.!.!.

Encourage them, tell them they can beat this!. My aunt had a 10% chance and she just came for a visit and we went shopping all weekend, cancer free!. Try to make them as comfortable as possible, and spend time with them as they may be ready to pass!. Best of luck to you and your friends/boyfriend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

From personel experience, I had a Aunt and my grandmother pass away from it within the last 3 years and all you can do is be there!. Do things everyday, when she/he feels good!. Try not to let them just lie around!.!.!.!. live each day to the fullest and try to encourage them not to give up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i suggest you to let them feel the true meaning of life!. Doing something they prefer and help other people who needs help while they can!. What you had do to others will seen by god!.

Try not to act different around them because they are still the same person and this can sometimes be upsetting!. You will be sad of coarse but try to deal with it in your own time so you don't worry them into thinking they are upsetting you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best thing to do is be there for them!. Right now is when they really need you the most!. I have been through this with my daughter when she was 4 and I never gave up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
