Question: Left ear extremely blocked!.What do i do apart from seeing a doctor!?
I just got a few minutes ago and it's already blocked up like hell!.It's really irritating and uncomfortable!.It's early afternoon where i am!. I've tried swallowing but that didn't and i've tried yawning even though i'm not tired but i can't seem to do it!.Sounds are muffled, i also hear some liquid when shaking my head!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i've had that and apart from seeing a Dr, you just have to leave it!. If it is water, which it sounds like it is, lay down with your ear flat on the ground/sofa and it will eventually run out!. It may take a while though! The more you shake your head the worse it'll get!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Probably a build up of wax - then the water in th shower has got behind it!.
Here's what to do, before you visit the doc's!.!.!.
Use an ear drop such as Cerumol (not suitable for Nut allergy sufferers), which you can buy at the Chemist from behind the counter!. Use as per instructions for a couple of days!. TIP: Do not do both ears at the same time or you will end up completely deafened!. Do them one at a time, with a day or so gap in between!.
Once you have done this for a few days, make an appointment at the doc's and he/she will probably recommend syringing which incidently is quite a pleasant experience)
Definitely do the drops before you go to the doc as this will help to loosen the wax and make syringing easier!.
After syringing, you will feel like a new person! Sounds are enhanced greatly!. You'll wonder how you ever coped before!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You may have water in there!. I use a couple drops of alcohol and leave in a few seconds and turn my head to the side and let it out!. You may want to put some petroleum jelly just inside the outer part of your ear first or it will sting!.

Buy some medicinal menthol crystals from the chemist and put one or two crystals in boiling water and inhale the steam!. Menthol has an extremely strong odour, so you don't want to put too many crystals in the water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
