As Panda says, there may be cancers associated with viral infections such as the human papilloma virus (HPV) types that contribute to cervical cancers in women!. That is why there is an HPV vaccine currently recommended for young women - ideally before they become sexually active!. So there is some evidence of sexual transmission of viruses that can cause cervical and anal cancers - but the cancer itself is not contagious!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cancer is the result of your own DNA mutating!. It is not contagious!. You may be thinking of the cervical virus !. !.which only places you at risk to develop cervical cancer !. !.it doesn't give you cervical cancer!. Being near someone with cancer is perfectly safe for you !. !. you should take precautions that you don't give the patient germs though!. It is hard for a cancer patient to fight off ordinary germs because their immune system is compromised !. !.so you should take precautions to protect them from catching a disease from you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
