Milk Allergy and Sour Cream..?!

Question: Milk Allergy and Sour Cream!.!.!?
I was wondering whether I could still have sour cream if I have a milk allergy (and I am lactose intolerant)!.!.!.its kind of a weird question because on the container of the sour cream is says may contain milk!.!.!.!.!.which makes it sound as if sour cream is not made of milk, but their company processed it on a machine w/ milk!.

Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I am intolerant to lactose!. I therefore stay clear of any milk products, such as cream, cheese, yogurt, ice-cream!. It is important though to replace your calcium intake with other food sources such as fish, soya milk, orange juice etc!. If you are not sure still seek advice from your doctor who may refer you to a nutritionist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends on what form your lactose intollerance takes!. If it's a violent reaction then I'd steer clear!. If like many of us, its just attrocious wind, then I'd try it on a day when you don't have to socialise, and see what the effects are!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sour cream is made from milk, as cheese and other dairy products are!.

I would think you have problems with milk and cheese, you'll have the same problems eating sour cream!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

the sour cream in my fridge right now contains cream, skim milk, and enzymes!.!.!. my son has a milk allergy and cannot have this!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
