Question: I've had a cough for 2 months!.!. Please Help!!!?
Ive had a cough for 2 months and i just cough up coloured flem and sometimes if i cough too much i throw up!. ive been to the doctors twice but she didnt really do anything but give me nasal spray and hayfever medicine which doesnt help cos i dont have hay fever!!

You need to see someone else!. That doctor sounds incompetent!. A cough that long is never good!. A chronic cough always indicates something else!. Have you considered seeing a Pulmonologist!. The specialize in this!. Did she at least order x-rays!? Somethings not right!. Please, get another opinion!. Even if someone has a cough for a week or more, most doctors get concerned about it!. How long ago was it you went to the doctor!? it doesn't make sense that they only gave you nasal spray for a cough and hayfever medicine!. go to another doctor, first of all!. They should give you some sort of antibiotics to see if that will help and some cough suppressent!.Some things that you can try at home would be using a humidifier or vaporizer to put moisture in the air!. Sleep with this on at night!. It will help!. Drink plenty of fluids, get plenty of rest!. Take some vitamin C, maybe some garlic capsules too!. Use plenty of garlic and onions in your cooking as well!. They are anti-viral and anti-bacterial!. Very little in the world is anti-viral, so cook with them a lot! you might also try to use some vicks vapor rub on your chest or get the plug-in kind that puts the vapor in the air!.
