Our elderly are not as resilient as they once were!. With a more fragile subsystem (skeleton) held together by not so together lining or skin most times gives insight into how long or short recoveries can be!.

Ok now, a 5 or 6 bypass procedure is dangerous for anybody let alone someone over 80!. However, if he's in otherwise good health, the risks are lessened!. Kidney damage could be another sign of a secondary issue that can complicate the surgery therefore increasing the risk factors !.

I've given discharge paperwork to patients with bypass surgery within 72 hours of the procedure!. Of course, there's a strict follow-up and home regimen that has to be followed, including diet, limited exercise, rest and even bathroom instructions!.

But with the elderly, you're likely to see them in the hospital twice as long, even longer if there are complications!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

depends on what the doctor thinks and all health problems
