Question: Is it possible with strep!.!.!. !?
I'll be getting my tonsils out tomorrow morning and it appears I may have yet another case of strep throat!. Perfect timing!. I was just wondering if anyone knows of they'll still operate!.!. or if I'll have to reschedule!. Should I tell them I may have it!? Or should I just keep quiet and say that's how they always are!.!. ha!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Surgeons aren't ignorant when it comes to this!. They will know if they can proceed or not in this case!. I would tell them if you feel ill since feelings can't be seen,obviously!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
You should tell them!. Strep weakens the immune system and it could increase your chances of infection spreading throughout your body if they operate!. It can also lengthen your recovery time!. But, don't take my word for it, check with your doctor!. I've had strep and it is a humdinger!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
They'll probably cancel it!. If you have strep and you are operated on, you could possibly spread it unknowingly much easier than not operated on!. I wouldn't just keep quiet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
