Answers:
no they do not lower your blood sugar

they have a lower glycemic index than for example white bread, which means that they wont cause your blood sugar to rise as rapidly after eating, they have a slower steadier release of the carbohydrate!. this can help regulate overall blood sugars and provide a steady release of energy throughout the day to aviod crashes and snacking!

if you are interested in that concept, look up GI diets!. there are many websites and books on the topic and it is easy to follow! it has helped me maintain good sugars and healthier eating!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's not so much that it lowers the blood sugar, but it changes the way it enters the bloodstream!. Eating processed grains like white bread and rice allows a lot of sugar to be deposited all at once, while the whole grains cause a slow release of sugar, which is easier for the body to deal with!. When a whole bunch of sugar gets dumped into the bloodstream at once, the body panics, dumps insulin, which drops the blood sugar quickly and often too low, which stimulates appetite to try to bring it back up, and so on!. It creates an unhealthy cycle of high and low blood sugar!. The whole grains create a slowly released blood sugar that keeps things on an even keel!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well the fact behind this is health benifit thing!.!.!.!.yes its true

The health benefits of wheat depend entirely on the form in which you eat it!. These benefits will be few if you select wheat that has been processed into 60% extraction, bleached white flour!. 60% extraction-the standard for most wheat products in the United States, including breads, noodles and pastas, baked goods like rolls or biscuits, and cookies-means that 40% of the original wheat grain was removed, and only 60% is left!. Unfortunately, the 40% that gets removed includes the bran and the germ of the wheat grain-its most nutrient-rich parts!. In the process of making 60% extraction flour, over half of the vitamin B1, B2, B3, E, folic acid, calcium, phosphorus, zinc, copper, iron, and fiber are lost!.
In a research it has been found that!.!."Given that both a high cereal fiber content and lower glycemic index are attributes of wholegrain foods, recommendation to increase wholegrain intake may reduce the risk of developing the metabolic syndrome!." Our perspective at the World's Healthiest Foods is that a way of eating that relies on the healthiest foods from all the food groups-the whole foods that contain the healthiest fats, carbohydrates and proteins-is the most effective, intelligent, and most enjoyable way to not only lower your risk of developing the metabolic syndrome, but to stay slim, vital and attractive throughout a long and healthy life!.

I drink a big glass of ice cold water with ice cubes and chug it down and that lowers your blood sugars!. also white bread does effect your sugar I watch my carb intake but you still have to eat carbs to keep up your energy so as a rule of thumb for me I eat nothing that the carbs go over 13 grams at any one time!. I lost weight and kept my sugar from sky rocketing!. But once you lose weight ask your doctor about lowering your medication if needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Actually it doesn't lower your blood sugars, what it does is help keep them from going higher or spiking!.

But they are very good for diabetics to eat because they offer other health benefits!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
