Question: I went to the hospital 3 months a go!?
cause thought i had alcohol poisoning so they took my Blood pressure and took my blood and put my blood into 3 tubes they came back with the results and said my blood sugar was high thats only because of alcohol my blood sugar is always normal and they said my blood pressure was high then i had a doc appointment and he told me that my potassium was normal so he told me to get off the pills for potassium cause he got my records from the hospital but my question is when they took my blood and put it into 3 tubes oh and i also had to pee in a cup!.!.!.!. but what were they checking in my blood!?!?!? i mean what do you think anyways was that a full physical like MY CHOLSTEROL calcium and all of that!? any info will be good thanks!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am a paramedic and the main reason for taking more than one tube is that blood clots quick once out of the body!. Having 3 tubes prevents them from drawing more a hour later if there was a problem!. They might have checked for the other things depending on the DR, but could have gotten results from the first tube!.
