Where can i get help for my friend in great britain?!

Question: Where can i get help for my friend in great britain!?
My friend suffers from Tarlovs disease ,this means he grows cysts in his spine which fill up with his own spinal fluid and then puts pressure on the surrounding nerves causing him to be in constant pain !. Are their any Surgeons in Great Britain who remove or treat them in another way !. I feel compelled to ask this question as i can see the effect it is have on his life ,firstly he has pain in his buttocks that runs down his legs to his ankles ,he no longer get any sensation to use the toilet ,he has to force which makes his pain worse!. Doctors have given him Gabapentin which is an anti -convulsant but these have little effect and even the strongest pain killers don't help him !. He was told by a professor in neurology that he will be in pain for the rest of his life and just live with it !. I can see the effect all this has on him because i spend most of my spare time trying to help and keep him positive but i can see it dwindling!. They can do these operations in the states but not in Britain !. That is why i am taking the chance asking this question in the hope that someone can please help!.Any help would be greatly appreciated !.Thank you in advance !.StozzerWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sorry, I've really no idea how you get British medics to consider that Tarlov cysts can cause symptoms!. Most think Tarlov cysts very rarely cause any trouble!. There is a scientific paper that may help, from the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery 2004 (the British version), by Birch, Grundy and Langdown, which classifies these cysts!.

I would recommend that your friend gets a referral to the Institute of Neurology based in Queens Square, London!. Your friend's GP should be able to refer there!. Here is a link:

The N!.H!.S is free and supposed to be for British people who contribute to it!. There are too many non residents getting free treatment!.
If you want treatment in the U!.K then go private and pay for it as you do in your own country!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

at the same time, there is also alternative therapists like
