Question: 101 days past unprotected sex!?
I know I should test again when it's been 6 months so please don't tell me that!.!.Obviously I am concerned and want to be 100% certain so I am already going to test again at 6 months!.!.But it's been 101 days since unprotected sex (a little more than 3 months) How good should I feel about a negative HIV test at this time!?!? Just looking to relax a little!.!.I've learned my lessonWww@Answer-Health@Com

This is very simple and your doctor should have told you this as well!. A 3 months HIV test is considered conclusive!. There are very rare cases that the immune system of the person is weak (people who are taking drugs for cancer treatment or anti-rejection drugs for organ transplant or people who are heavy drug users)!. In these cases, antibodies is detected a little bit later!. But if you are not in these categories, then a test at 3 months is conclusive!. 3 months, 4 months, 5 months, 6 months, 10 months, does not matter!. As long as it is past 3 months, it is conclusive!.
If you have a negative result after 3 months, your test at 6 months is going to be 100% negative!. So yes, you can expect a negative result and you can count on it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is good to see that you care about your body the way you do!. Going to get tested is nothing wrong with that!. But just don't stress yourself out about it!. People sleep with people all the time unprotectely and they turn out to be hiv negative all the time!. I am not saying that you shouldn't use protection, but I am just saying you shouldn't think about it as much unless you have heard something about the person you slept with and you want to know to make you feel better!. You can feel reasonably good about it!. Even though I am a married woman, I still get tested for all STDs and HIV every year during my regular feminine wellness check up!. It's the responsible thing to do (plus, it is covered by my insurance and since I pay those guys so much, I should get all I can out of it)!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
At 101 days you should have a very accurate test result!. The window period for HIV is 3 months/90 days so if you tested negative you should feel really great! They use to say the window period was 6 months, but the testing has become much better so you are safe!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I tested at 129 days!.!.and was Negative!.!.
I tested at 1 week, 7 weeks, 13 weeks, and 18 weeks!.!. ALL NEGATIVE!.
