Question: HIV from a barber shop !!?
I went to the barber last week and as he was trimming my beard and neck he used a razor which he got from the table!. I didnt see it cleaned and I dont know if it is new!. Can I get HIV!? I dont know if I had open wounds on my head face or neck and I dont know if he cut me or not (maybe he cut me and I didnt notice)!. Am I at risk for HIV !?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

No, you are not!. The HIV virus is very fragile and dies fairly quickly!. The razor blade, if it DID have HIV on it, would not survive long enough to make it into you!.
Plus it takes some fairly intimate, prolonged contact to make an HIV transfer!.
The real risk is hepatitis!. I'd ask a barber to use a fresh razor, or one of those disinfectant jars!. I probably would not go back to that barber!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I highly doubt it! I understand your concern because YOU CAN'T TRUST ANYTHING THESE DAYS!!!! From what I have read and learned!.!.the virus is only spread (in the event you have an opening to your blood stream by an open sore) and coming into direct contact od the infected blood, seman, or vaginal secretions!.!.!.it cannot live in an open environment!.!.!.!.so once air hit it!.!.!.it is pretty much dead/inactive!.!.!.!.I believe you are fine!
