Answers:
Tetanus is known to cause more irritation than most other immunizations!. I also warn my patients of this when I give the shot!.

It should only last two to three days, if it goes longer than that you should see your doctor again!. Furthermore, it should not get any worse than it is; and likewise, if it does, call the doctor!.

Anyway, you can ease the symptoms with a few simple remedies!. First, gentle stretching will improve the blood flow to the area and help repair the damaged tissue!. After stretching, apply a cold pack to the site to cool it down and reduce inflammation!. Ibuprofen is a good choice for the inflammation and tenderness, but just make sure you follow the directions of the bottle for dosing and timing!.

Tetanus is the worst vaccine I've gotten and given!. With the above and a couple more days, you should be one-hundred percent!.

It sounds like you are having a reaction to the shot!. Try taking some benedryl or put some cream on the injection spot!. If this don't help or if the spot doesn't clear up with in a few days I would call the place in which you got the shots at and ask!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You body reacts differently to each individual injection!. It will take a few days for the swelling to go down, and be sore for a maximum of a week!. No worries!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh yes, tetanus shots are quite nasty!. I didn't move or touch my arm for two days after I got mine!. You shouldn't have any need to think this is abnormal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
