Smoking question for Doctor or smoker, any insight?!

Question: Smoking question for Doctor or smoker, any insight!?
I am aware as most that smoking is not safe, but what is the average number of years that persons with lung cancer smoke before developing the disease!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It's hard to say because it really depends on how much that person smokes, what type of diet they have, their lifestyle and how strong their immune system is!.

For example, my father started smoking when he was 13-14 years old!. He smoked at least a pack a day for 20 years!. He had a horrible diet!. (junk food/fast food etc!.)
If you just saw him, he looked healthy, but at 37 he developed lung cancer and passed away when he was only 40!

Some people smoke decades and never develop cancer!. So I am convinced its all about diet and lifestyle and overall health which really contributes to the factor of getting lung cancer if you smoke!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just one (or even 2nd hand smoke exposure) greatly increases your risk of getting the disease!.

Just look at this info:

Smoking

Tobacco addiction is by far the most important risk factor in the development of lung cancer!. Cigarette smoke contains more than 4,000 different chemicals, many of which are proven carcinogens (substances that cause cancer)!. Cigarettes increase the chance of getting lung cancer and other smoking-related illnesses!. About 85% of all lung cancers are in people who smoke or who have smoked!. There are approximately 123,386 lung cancer deaths per year attributable to smoking1!. (Source: CDC)

But what if I quit smoking!?

Unfortunately, even if you have quit smoking you are at risk!. The risk does decrease the longer ago you quit, but it never returns to zero!.
