Question: I have BROWN pee!?!!? what's wrong!?
i just peed and it's dark brown!.
i know it's not my period i'm VERY positive!.
i don't have pain at all, besides after i pee i feel a slight discomfort in my urinary tract!.
i'm freaked out!.
why is my urine brown!?!!?!!?!!?
it was a dark muddy, murky BROWN, not yellow!.
the only pill i've taken in the past 24 hours is a vitamin and ampicillin for my acne!.
i've been taking ampicillin for 3 months and i've never had this problem!.

It could be the pill!. I took a pill once (can't remember the name B 12 or something like that)!. My urine was a bright yellow like it could glow in the dark!. Of course, I was puzzled and asked a friend that takes this type of vitamin - she laughed and told me that it was a side effect of that pill!.
Read the directions on that vitamin - it could be a direct effect of that!.
Brown urine can also be associated with Hepatitis A, B, and C!.
This does not neccesarily mean you have it!.
Go to your physician and have him / her check w/ a blood test!.
If you by chance do - then it is better to know and obtain treatment than to go along and allow it to go unchecked and get worse!.
Check a website such as Web Md that has a symptom checker program!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

hopefully it's the vitamin, especially vitamin B can sometimes do that!. but it can also be very serious and you need to talk to a doctor asap!.
also some foods like beets really turn your pee red, and maybe some other foods!.
but don't guess!. if you don't have a regular doctor or can't afford it, then go to a clinic of some kind!.

Okay, you are probably dehydrated, cut down on sodas, and drink teas and water!. Urine should be a light yellow, or clear, not yellow, that means you're dehydrated, just don't get carried away when you drink!. If the condition persists, you really should see a doctor, and not trust the people on here!. But you're probably making something out of nothing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
This is one of the side effects of ampicillin, although it's weird that you've been on it for months and have only just experienced it--you should tell your doctor!. Brown urine comes from meds and liver problems usually!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Drink alot of water and see if the condition improves, if it does not, see a doctor IMMEDIATELY!. Dark urine means that its not being filtered and could be a sign of kidney failure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
well i'm guessing your very dehydraded!!! try drinking a lot!. your pee should be clearish not yellow the yellower the more dehydrated!. and brown means your EXTREMELY dehydratedWww@Answer-Health@Com

If they say no, go see a doctor!. You could have blood in your urine, which could indicate a kidney infection or another serious problem!.
Sometimes side effects can sneak up on your long after you've started a medication!. I once got an allergic rash to a drug two weeks after I stopped taking it!. It can hang around in your system for a long time and build up to a high enough level that it will cause a side effect!.

If water and cranberry juice could kill bacteria we wouldn't have needed to invent penicillin!. If you have a UTI, you MUST be treated by a doctor with an appropriate antibiotic!.
